Our Story
Our journey began with a community of independent filmmakers in Chicago. They were pouring their hearts into creating amazing short-form content, only to see it get lost in the sea of YouTube videos with no real way to monetize their work. We knew there had to be a better way—a way that supports creators and offers a meaningful connection between advertisers and audiences.
As we searched the digital advertising landscape, we realized the problem went deeper. Users often have no idea why they’re seeing the ads they do, nor what kind of data is being collected about them. How could advertisers trust that the data they rely on is accurate, or that the ads they pay for are actually reaching engaged audiences?
That’s where The Loop app comes in. At its core is a belief in the power of self-awareness—an idea inspired by the ancient wisdom of “know thyself.” We’re putting data back into the hands of users, allowing them to see, understand, and control what data is collected about them.
